'KHANDALLAH' : NEW SINGLE FOR MICE ON STILTS

‘Khandallah’ is the haunting lead single from Auckland band Mice on Stilts’ forthcoming album Hope for a Mourning - due out April 15th.

‘Khandallah’ is a universal love song about finding a space where two individuals exist without anxiety or expectation of each other, romantic or otherwise.

Songwriter Ben Morley says, “I used to work for an internet provider and every day I'd speak to different people from all around Aotearoa. While working there I spoke to a woman who lived in Khandallah. For whatever reason the word just kind of stuck with me. I looked up the suburb and read all about it. The name means 'resting place of god'."

'Khandallah' is available for purchase from iTunes and all good DSPs from Friday 18th March. Hope For A Mourning is due for release on April 15th.
