Sony Music in Sweden has developed an app which the label claims will aid in transparency for artists in the streaming age.

Ex Spotify employee Michelle Kadir led the platform's development, which shows artists their daily royalty earnings – including information about their label advance.

It won't raise streaming earnings but it will shed light on how the process works and allow artists to see results for themselves.
