The Sydney based Deluxe Project will release their self-titled debut EP on June 10th via Harder Music Group and Warner Music NZ. The collaboration and resulting EP is a collection of songs written and produced by Vince Harder and Anthony “Ratstar” McCarthy.

Vince and Anthony met in high school in West Auckland and it’s there where they found their shared love of music, in particular RnB and Soul. The pair then spent the following few years developing as musicians before going off in their own directions.

Fast forward a few years to when Vince made the move to Sydney to set up his recording studio (Harder Music Group)… the two friends were reunited and quickly realized that their passion for making music together had not diminished.

With the Deluxe Project EP the two friends have fused their favourite styles of reggae and RnB to deliver 6 tracks that tell the story of the beginning, middle and end of a relationship. The debut single ‘On & On’ recounts the initial meeting, while the ballad ‘Without Your Love’ explores the honeymoon period, and then the haunting ‘Rona’, complete with a bridge in Te Reo, explores the mourning period of something that has ended.
