Chris Knox - songwriter, musician, artist, cartoonist, writer, father and a bit of an all-round legend.

His classic song “Not Given Lightly” can be heard on the latest Vogel's ads and videos.

In 2009, Chris suffered a serious stroke which left him in a bad way. He couldn’t use his right hand, he could barely walk, and worst of all, he was no longer able to really talk or sing.

But Chris being Chris, didn’t let this hold him back, learning to paint again with his left hand amongst other things - including playing the piano and a bit of drums.

He’s still creating and occasionally performing and encouraging everyone he meets with his sheer determination. “Oh well” is one of his favourite sayings.
